ARTIST STATEMENT
A special piece of jewellery will become an heirloom, adding an emotional dimension to the qualities of light, texture and symmetry embodied. I am fascinated by that transition, the process by which beauty is coaxed from fine materials by calm inspiration and careful technique. Rapport is born between the work and its wearer. Movement reveals depth and intricacy, hidden detail and luminous reflection. I pursue the expression of this shared beauty - the emergence of permanence. BIOGRAPHY Andrea graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction from the Alberta College of Art + Design in Calgary, where she lives and works today. In addition to her inspired collections, Andrea creates custom work, collaborating with clients to evoke and embody their individual aesthetic. Her original designs are available for purchase online and in boutiques and galleries across Canada. |
