Yinyang Dragon Phoenix

The combination of the dragon and phoenix together is regarded as a symbol of harmonious equality in marriage. The dragon symbolizes the male, or yang half. It was believed that the noble dragon could swallow the sun and the moon, conjure the winds and the waves, and cause other natural disasters with his great power. The phoenix symbolizes the female, or yin half, and is seen as the epitome of grace and virtue. The phoenix’s head represents the sun and the moon; her wings, the wind; her feet, the Earth; and her tail, the planets in the sky.

These two sterling silver yin yang halves hang together on a pair of solid sterling silver curb chains. Together, they measure 1 inch in length and width, are 1/4 inch thick, and weigh 52.0 grams including both chains.Chains are available either white or blackened : either  22" or 24" in length.
